There were not any extracurricular activities that i knew of within this school. But when it came to the development of well-rounded students, the school did an excellent job. The teachers made sure to help in all possible ways and were very respectful. Although there weren't many extracurriculars, the school still did a great job on providing meaningful development and kept me interested and focused.
Since, OVS is an online school, I do not think they offer any extracurricular activities. However, since the course work is mostly self-paced, it is very easily manageable outside of school if the student wishes to participate in any offered outside.
This was an online school so there were no extracurriculars. That being said, since it is online I was able to work in my final year of high school. This would be difficult with day school, but the flexibility of online classes helped me generate some income for a few months. OVS also allows more time for you to participate in non school related extracurriculars because you work at your own pace.
At Ontario Virtual School there were no extracurricular programs that I knew about during my enrollment. I do not remember if extracurricular programs were even offered at the time of my enrollment and I was relatively busy at the time with school, part-time job, and other extracurricular activities to even inquire about extracurricular programs that were offered. It was an online course and so extracurricular programs do not technically make sense unless they were about extra help with course material.
The atmosphere for extracurricular programs where great many opportunities and ways for students to develop their skills. The school did a good job developing well rounded students
OVS is an online school platform therefore I did not get involved in any extracurriculars. However, the online school allows individuals to interact, pose questions and gives students the opportunity to interact and engage with their peers. I also found it helpful to reach out to the teacher to connect recent articles in the news to what we were learning online.
As this was an online school, I was not part of any extracurricular programs. I don't believe that Ontario virtual school offers any because again, it is all online and can be taken anywhere, even overseas. If you are a parent looking to enrol your child and want them to join in any extracurricular activities, that could be done through their regular school. This school is great for online courses, not so much for the extracurriculars.
The school did a good job of developing well-rounded students. Also, they had events at their main office in Toronto for anyone that wanted to attend. I remember once we organized an event for Halloween, which was fun as we were treated with a nice dinner.
OVS being an online school doesn't have extracurriculars. This is ok since the course work takes up most of the time however, many universities like to see the student being involved in extracurriculars. OVS being an online school can't host physical activities, online programs or activities would suffice. But this is not a major problem since students can find activities outside and with the course work, everyone has enough to do.
Being an online school OVS does not provide any extracurricular activity but ensures excellent education for natives and students living in abroad. Although it cannot provide any activity outside a classroom its all-around development of students is excellently maintained. The faculty of OVS is really very caring and respectful. They give their best to help students to achieve their goals and this is what makes it exceptional.
Due to this course being online it gave me lots of time to really choose my schedule. I really enjoyed having the freedom it gave due to the lack of deadlines on my course except from the 365 day window you have to complete the course in total which is plenty of time allowing for you to do the other things you enjoy as well.
