On Monday October 6, the HNMCS U13 team competed in the PSAA Cross Country meet at Heart Lake Conservation Area in Brampton. The 5-8 girls had an amazing day at the meet!
They were up against some tough competition but were able to hold their own throughout the meet. Congratulations to each and every team member for your hard work and determination this season! The girls demonstrated great sportsmanship and it was amazing to watch the girls cheer each other on from both the start and finish lines.
A special congratulations goes out to Grace L. who received 3rd place overall in the U11 division. In the U14 meet, a special congratulations goes out to Tara K. who received 7th place overall and Maya Pankiw who received 10th place overall in their division. The U13 girls also had a successful meet with Taissa C. who received 9th place overall, Cassandra Y. who received 5th place overall, Hanna H. who received 2nd place overall and Rachel S. who received 1st place overall. A big congratulation goes out to the entire U13 team for receiving 1st place in their category! The girls received a plaque, that is now displayed in the trophy case!
