OPTIONS FOR DELIVERY OF OUR CLASSES
Online Classes:
Online Classes are our way to go now due to COVID. All our courses are full calendar year courses and run till end of June 2021. These are 1 hour a week for a course. Please check the registration page for rates. https://cloverdalerobotics.ca/register/
Private Coaching (1:1) and Group Coaching (1:2/3/4) : IN PERSON
In our private coaching, a student or group of students usually living in the same area form a group. Then they meet at one of the student’s
residence for the classes. Special requests to conduct this in other public spaces can be considered. Usually 1 or 2 hours a week are scheduled upfront but can add more if needed. Cost is lesser for a greater number of students.
Students can come with their own group or help us to find others in the area. If we form the group, we do a short discussion/assessment
with each student (usually a 15 mins call) to ensure students are on a similar level in terms of knowledge, interest and ability to learn. Flexible schedule based on convenience and interest of student and instructor and mostly discussed at the end of each session. Instructors follow our curriculum.
It is also okay to move to ‘In-Person’ classes or vice versa as time progress. It is also okay to move from 1:1 to 1:2, 1:3, 1:4 etc. as
long as all in the group agree.
We will share bio of teachers upfront with parents. The group can also request for a different teacher if they want, before or down the
line.
We recommend students to get their own robots in this setting. This cause couple hundred dollars or bit more depending on the
courses. However, the instructor can bring the robots in the initial month/s until students are comfortable to make the decision.
COVID Precautions: All instructors will be masked. Also, each instructor is asked to fill up a questionnaire about COVID and handover to
parents for each visit. They will inform us in case of any symptoms and we will try to find another teacher. Also, if the classes have to be postponed due to symptoms or illness at student’s home, there is no money lost. However, we request to let us know as early as possible.

Group Coaching Online (1:2): Here instructor work with two students at student’s home or a public place. If you want help to find another student, we can help to find another student to form the group.
Group Coaching Online (1:3): Here instructor work with three students at student’s home or a public place. If you want help to find another student, we can help to find another student to form the group.
Group Coaching Online (1:4): Here instructor work with four students at student’s home or a public place. If you want help to find another student, we can help to find another student to form the group.

In our private coaching, a student or group of students form a group for private coaching online. Students can opt for a 1:1s or team up with up to three friends who they are comfortable with. If you do not have other students to form a team, you can request us to find a student/s.
If we form the group, we do a short discussion/assessment with each student (usually a 15 mins call) to ensure students are on the comparable level in terms of knowledge, interest and speed of learning. This will help students to learn at their own speed.
Then set up a particular day and time in discussion with us. An hour or two each week (Minimum four classes an average each month). Flexible schedule based on convenience and interest of students and instructor. Instructors follow the same curriculum mostly. It is okay to move to ‘In-Person’ classes or vice versa as time progress.

In School Classes:
Our In School Classes are postponed till Jan 2021 at least due to COVID. Revised timeline, schools etc. would be communicated later as schools become ready for it.
