Youth Character Drawing in-person camp for ages 12 to 15 in Guelph teaches foundational drawing skills to develop your characters and scenes. Our teacher Zen Rankin has studied illustration at Sheridan and has worked as an art director, illustrator, and character designer. This camp is also being taught by one of PortPrep’s past students who just graduated from Cambrian’s Animation program. This camp will inspire youth to keep creating and pursue careers that they will love!
Digital Painting Camp for ages 15 to 19 is an online camp that helps develop art skills for composing and painting a scene for their animation, illustration or game art portfolios. Our teacher Garth Laidlaw teaches the fundamentals of digital art, composition, and animation. This camp teaches so much in a short amount of time!. By the end of this camp, you will have created a beautifully painted scene!
Our Freelancing for Artists Workshop is online and prepares artists to start their independent careers. Our teacher Garth Laidlaw is a freelance animator and illustrator. He has self-published a children’s book, helped launch a board game, and has worked on many short films. If you have ever considered freelance artistry, this workshop will broaden your knowledge.
Each event offers an exceptional experience that will broaden an artist's skills. Sign up today!
