Students of the Avenue Road Arts School have their work accepted into an annual Youth Exhibit at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. This will be the School's second year taking part in the exhibit.
Working under the direction of faculty member, Sandra Tarantino in our Drawing and Painting class for teens, students looked at the current impact of climate change and plastic pollution through mixed media techniques. Pieces were made with acrylic paint, acrylic inks, dip pen on watercolour paper or canvas.
The Exhibit will open in February 2020.
Our Drawing and Painting (Grades 9-12) is a great class for young artists hoping to prepare a portfolio for post-secondary study in visual art while also having the ability to explore their own artistic voice.
