This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Curiosity: All children are naturally curious and at Crescent Camps we nurture a love of learning and exploration through our program design, relational staff and day-to-day activities
  • Creativity: Encouraging creativity through activities helps develop a mindset that fosters self-expression, creative thinking and a willingness to try new things

Campers will learn about design, coding, problem identification, and resolution while building teamwork and communication skills. By the end of the week, campers will be able to develop and build parts of the Minecraft world and take action in it, while laying a foundation of computing and coding concepts that they will be able to use in computer programming they do in the future. This camp includes indoor/outdoor camp games and activities throughout the week.
