3D Game Design with Unity 3D - Ages 11-teens

Maximum 12 campers with 2 instructors
Regular Price $215 for ONE WEEK camp - Winter Special $190 to end of February!

Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate
Skills Development: Game design and development, Coding, C#, Terrain Development, Gameplay strategy design, Optimization of games

Session: Aug 3-6th, 3 hours per day 
This is a 4-day camp.

Program Description

If you love Lego and playing video games, you can create your own digital Lego game with the Unity 3D game engine!

Create and develop 3D games with Unity, a world-class game engine! Hollow Knight, Subway Surfer and Subnautica are just a few examples of games created in Unity. This course will cover C# coding and best practices for game development and optimization of 3d games.

  • Coding with C#
  • Build Lego scenery!
  • Working with lighting and manipulating 3D  artifacts

Campers are guided from planning through to a build, using Unity 3D. Small group learning allows for focused and customized instruction.

Character Development:

  • Independence: This is a great camp for starting to work with the Unity 3D game engine. If you know how to build with Lego you are more than half way there!
  • Creativity: Creating games gives you control over many aspects of the game: the creative, e.g. the graphics and level designs; as well as logical portion - coding
